- Stinky Peterson, coach of the Possum Lake Boys 8 and under T Ball team, would like to formally apologize to the league, families, and kids involved in last year's scandal. Apparently the team's starting shortstop from last year, Dominican import Juan Pablo Johnson, was not quite as young as he had previously claimed. Turns out the 6'1" star player is 32 years old and played some semi-pro ball back in his home country. Noone made too much of a fuss about it during the season as we all remember Moose Thomson being 2 inches taller and having a fuller beard when he played for that team.

- Now that school is out, the mayor's office is announcing a Summer Intern program to try to help get these kids jobs for the summer.
